Brauereimuseum Fohrenburg

Description
The earliest building of the Fohrenburg Brewery is the old carpenter’s workshop at the entrance to the brewery courtyard. It originates from the year 1881 and was formerly used as a workshop and warehouse. In 2014 the building was thoroughly renovated, and since then the Brewery Museum has been located there. It presents historical background information about the Fohrenburg Company and brewing traditions in the town of Bludenz. Historical photographs, old beer bottles and labels, earlier advertising motifs and logos, along with the implements and equipment used in beer brewing, provide a glimpse back into more than 130 years of brewing history. In addition, the history of restaurants and gastronomic services in Bludenz back to the year 1920 is displayed in the museum’s extensive collection of pictures and photos.
