Kunstraum Dornbirn

The Kunstraum ("Art Space") Dornbirn was established in 1987 as a non-profit organization whose primary objective is presenting and promoting contemporary art. Since 2003 exhibitions have taken place in the specially converted historic assembly hall of the former Rusch machine factory in the Dornbirn City Gardens. This hall offers ideal conditions for showcasing extensive walk-in installations. The quality of the architecture in its original, raw state is uniquely suited to accommodate current movements in international artistic practice. With a maximum of four exhibitions per year, the space showcases both established, internationally renowned artists and emerging positions.
